As a healthy chef, I love taking my favorite indulgent foods and making a healthy recipe out of it.
Which brings me to one of my favorites: Fried Rice!
I LOVE fried rice from my local Chinese restaurant, but I can rarely order it because it makes me so thirsty and my fingers swell the next day. Most restaurants add MSG, globs of processed butter and sodium-rich soy sauce.
In this video here, I make my a healthier, clean-eating version: Quinoa Fried Rice.
As you’ll see, I swapped the white rice for quinoa (extra protein, fiber and less time to make), plus I use tamari (a wheat-free soy sauce), sesame oil (instead of globs of processed butter) and then sautee in tons of veggies.
It’s one of my go-to dinners that you’re going to love. I know it!
